Ubuntu 14.10 Utopic Unicorn이 출시 되었습니다

Ubuntu Linux가 04.10부터 나왔고, 이제 14.10까지 나왔으니 Ubuntu Linux가 나온지 10년이 되는군요.

저는 Ubuntu Linux 05.04부터 사용하였고, 10년동안 UI(User Interface), UX(User eXperience)가 엄청나게 변하였다는 것을 체감합니다.

요약정리

W3C(World Wide Web Consortium)의 HTML 워킹그룹(HTML Working Group)에서 2014년 10월 28일자로 HTML5 권고안을 내놓았습니다

HTML5의 표준이 2014년 10월 28일자로 완성되었다는 이야기입니다.

이번 사양은 HTML(Hypertext Markup Language, 하이퍼텍스트 마크업 언어)의 5번째 주요 개정안이며, 웹페이지와 어플리케이션을 만드는 포맷이며, 오픈 웹 플랫폼의 주춧돌이라고 하군요

HTML5에서는 웹 브라우저에서 자체적으로 동영상, 음악, 게임, 시각적 이미지 렌더링 하는 것 및 벡터그래픽, 수학, 동아시아문자에 대한 주석(후리가나등) 리치어플리케이션의 접근성을 가능할수 있는 특징을 가진다고 합니다

저는 Eclipse 플러그인으로 된 DBeaver를 사용하고 있음. Oracle, Mysql, PostgreSQL, SQLite, H2, Java DB등 여러종류의 DBMS를 지원하고 OS도 Windows, Linux, Mac OS 모두 지원합니다.

• All remote database operations work in non-blocking mode so DBeaver does not hang if the database server does not respond or if there is a related network issue

구글이 무료로 풀었다는 아이콘은 Material 디자인으로 만든 아이콘이라고 합니다.

Material 디자인이라는게 Android 5.0 롤리팝(Lollipop)에서 사용한다는 디자인인데, 아이콘이 Material 디자인에 맞게 만들어진 아이콘이라고 합니다.

아이콘 다운로드는 https://github.com/google/material-design-icons/releases/tag/1.0.0 에서 할수 있다고 합니다.

구글은 모바일과 데스크탑 그리고 그 외 다양한 디바이스들을 아우르는 하나의 일관된 디자인 가이드라인을 공개하였습니다. 바로 머티리얼 디자인 (material design) 입니다. 머티리얼 디자인은 질감이 느껴지는 표면 (tactile surfaces) 과 대담하고 선명한 그래픽 디자인 (bold graphic design), 그리고 아름답고 직관적인 사용자 경험을 위한 자연스러운 애니메이션을 특징으로 합니다.

이번에 구입한 맥북프로에 OS X 10.10 Yosemite업그레이드를 하였음

아이콘이 바뀌고, 어튼 많이 바뀌었음.

UI가 바뀌니깐 뭔가 깔끔해진 느낌이다.

iPad mini와 연동하여 iCloud로 사진 공유등을 할수 있으니 편하다
